CONTRACT CFO
One of our passions at Lee Weddle & Associates is small business advisory services. Years of experience and professional training has equipped our associates with skills to assist and advise our business clients on a variety of matters that are important to the success of any business.
We deliver these services through our unique Contract CFO Services program. The term “CFO” is used to refer to the position in many larger national firms known as the Chief Financial Officer. The position implies an expertise in areas like finance and accounting and capital markets-not so much on a day-to-day level like a controller but more at a strategic level. Since many organizations may not need or can’t afford a full time skilled and experienced CFO, we can offer these services on a part time basis when and as needed -- a day, half-day, hourly, weekly, monthly or for a particular project -- whatever the need demands.
Examples of some of our CFO engagements include:
- Overseeing the accounting and finance operations
- Coordinating services and preparing for the CPA’s annual visit
- Coordinating and supervising legal services
- Evaluating and assisting with selection of insurance programs
- Leading the search and preparing the necessary information for funding sources
- Succession planning in concert with CPA and attorney
- Leading staff in the annual budget process
- Cash flow analysis and recommendations
- Leading workouts when necessary
- Assisting with mergers and acquisitions or sale of business
- Mentor key personnel
- Special Projects as needed
